Who we are
We are primary school teachers and event organizations from different countries in Europe. We share the ambition to inspire children and teach them why cultural heritage is important and make them feel part of it.
What we believe in
We believe that cultural heritage is what binds us as people. In the world, in a continent, a country, a region or a village. It gives us a shared past, present and future. With shared values, perspectives and dreams. In times where societies tend to individualize and nations polarize on a global scale, it’s important that we cherish this shared cultural identity and learn from each other in an open community. It makes us who we are, connect with each other and fuels the feeling that we ‘belong’.
What we do
Culture United utilizes cultural events and heritage festivals as a driver to embed multidisciplinaryways of teaching in primary schools. The context behind our project initiative is to appeal to the interests and natural enthusiasm of children and to use this effectively in an interactive and engaging way to learn and be inspired.
